Just got off the phone with VW South Africa. My car is on its way to Emden :-) Now for the long wait for it to get to South Africa.

Well i should be collecting my GTi tomorrow after ordering early July. Had my current car for 6 years and this will be first new car. Should be quite an experience.

That's great news!

Extremely frustrated through that mine's still stuck in Emden, and even some B/W 42 cars are now in the UK!

It does indeed, it's extremely frustrating particularly as people who ordered well after me already have their cars! :-(
