I'm trying to stir up some excitement, its hard after this amount of time TBH.

Lets hope they are faster at delivering than they were with building !

If it takes the 4 weeks as stated, it will be close on 7 months, when originally told a maximum of 4 months....

Its funny that the first date they gave me was the 27th July - LOL !!!

Chuffed for you matey! From this point it should take about 3 1/2 weeks if all goes smoothly. Prepare for 4 weeks to be on the safe side

Just had an update from VW UK Customer Relations Manager

I knew more than them! like it was in transit.
And they still don't know why its been delayed.
Apparently nobody at VW knows why............ erm, but VW, you make the damn thing....

Rikwebb: Did they at least know what goodwill gesture they will be giving you for your epic wait? VW UK didn’t know what I was getting. When it turned out to be Autoglym, I did wonder whether VW UK would be paying for it or whether they’d just strongarm the dealer into providing it FOC out of their margin.

I finally got my tax disc refund off the Scirocco 8 weeks to the day after sending it. The DVLA like to keep hold of your money for as long as possible, yet can send out a V5 and a tax disc for the new car in a few days.
