I prefer the twin pipes of the GTD compared to the wheelbarrow handle look standard GTI pipes. A GTI with a Milltek tho' is a different story.

As for center exhausts, they are not much good if you want a tow bar.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

To be honest I like both, but what I really like about the GTI is the diffuser. It's a nice honeycombed unit, whereas on the GTD it's a bog standard plain one that you would get on a SE or GT

Which is why the MK1 Astra VXR has a centre exit exhaust - Vauxhall couldn't/wouldn't get it through the towing tests, so they switched from split exhausts to centre exit!

BTW, voted split!

The symmetrical look of the split is way more pleasing to my eyes. Twin is okay as long as it's central (again, symmetry).

The mk7 R has gone for split twins (2 pairs), which is just excessive and vulgar and undermines the refinement of the brand.

Split exhaust looks better to me, although the central twin on the Golf R Mk6 also looks awesome.  I wonder if the Quad on the R MK7 is a bit overkill in looks.  I prefer the R MK6 central over it any day.

I think that the new .:R quad pipes are too much. A pair of large ovals would have been better.

The R has probably only got quad tailpipes so it can parts share (yet) another part with the S3 lol!
