Large DAB Logos ?

just to check, I'm just getting the standard head unit. if i get the red cable with it can i watch videos on the screen from my iphone? or is this just for pro nav? if i can on the standard unit, that's just made the car even better 

Hey, did anybody manage to find this ou for the standard unit? The red lightening connector is now standard. Can you go through pictures also on your iPhone etc?

Did anybody ever find out how to display the larger size DAB logos (and where to source them)?

Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere (but I can't find a definitive answer).

you cant display the large logos unless the station broadcasts the logo.

it was answered before. you can't display large radio logos downloaded from anywhere. only logo that shows large is the world service and that's because it broadcasts the logo. unless a future software update rectifies this then we are stuck with tiny logos.

As a slight aside, has anyone actually found a station that broadcasts the Station logo and current playing artist logo's (aside from the BBC World Service) ?

I'm in Cheshire (halfway between Manchester and Liverpool), and when I got the car, the local (Liverpool) Capital FM, did show up both (and very detailed artist information with the album cover of the track playing etc). However, since Mid September onwards, no stations that I can receive (including Capital FM), seems to be showing anything. Furthermore, I'm 100% sure that when I got the car and looked at the DAB stations in list form, the ones that broadcast slideshow information, had a small logo (2 squares over lapping each other - see image below) next to their name, however now, this logo doesn't appear on any station ?

Anybody else's the same, or has my DAB receive somehow screwed itself up ?

Received my GTD today and first impressions are love it  BUT have my first issue "unable to read SD card 1" and if remove the Sat Nav SD card it says "unable to read SD card 2" if place it in that slot. when put nav SD card back in all is fine.

I eject and load cards properly.

So that would say card fault but tried cards SD, SDHC and attempted in all formats FAT FAT32 and exFAT and with and without folders.

Have Ipod hooked to the multi media and to be honest happy with that as it has all my music and listen to radio mostly anyway so all I want to do is get the DAB Logos set up.

Think it maybe a reader fault but do not want to go to garage without checking here first? any ideas?

Norbreck21a - Seen as you've clearly gone to a lot of trouble to find/format all the logos. Any chance of hosting them somewhere so I/we can grab a copy?  It would be much appreciated!

I see that they are available here - http://www.volkswagen.de/de/models/golf_7/brochure/senderlogos.html - but not sure if you are using higher res versions?

Collecting my GTi this Saturday and putting the DAB logos in place is one of the first jobs on my list!

the website you linked to is where you get the logos from. no higher res versions just what's on that site. all the same size which is small.
