My GTI was also due for build on Week 40 , after the pain of getting hold of someone to find out where my car was "should have been at the dealer for Monday the 28th", i`ve now been told by VW UK its delayed by one month due to production volume issues & Parts shortage for my vehicle.

Now looking at Early December

Hi Ginagee, My specs pretty standard just the addition of the performance pack, in fact i had to remove the Rear park camera due to supply issues in the early days of the ordering process, not really a necessity more a gadget

I also feel for those who have been/are still being messed about.

I'm sure you'll love the car. The GTI is my first auto/DSG so I'm still getting used to it, but the overall package is fantastic.

JCB Medway were really good when I collected on Monday, just don't forget any documents they may have asked you to present (they needed to 'scan' my Photo Drivers Licence for example).

Have a good drive tomorrow, and enjoy!

They didnt need any docs from me? Just payment! Maybe only needed if taking VW finance?
