Vehicle now at port of Sheerness (confirmed by my dealer) only three weeks after being built. Also have the reg number allocated.

Feeling at bit more positive now :smiley:

I can confirm that the tracker says my car is delivered to the dealer today.

So step 7 of 7:
Your vehicle has been delivered to your local Volkswagen Retailer and is available for collection. Please contact the Retailer to arrange your handover. Thank you again for your order and happy motoring!

So that's it, the end of a very, very long journey.

Going down to collect Friday 1st November. One way train journey down to dealer in Kent, then the long drive home in my shiny new GTI :smug:
