My handbrake has been on for a while now,but when it rains it goes off?

Get it scanned,check fluid level,check the handbrake switch,abs mod may be faulty.

like screech said, buy your self a cheap scanner and get the fault code

it's not a handbrake (warning) light for f**ks sake....

it's a light that tells you that you either have the handbrake on or there is a PROBLEM with your brakes (and/or ABS if that also lights up)

could be low brake fluid level, broken wire, broken swimmer, faulty handbrake switch,.... if you have ABS does that also come on? If yes get VCDS and scan for fault codes.
