unplugged the maf and took it for 3 spins
first spin car was fine revs bounced about but the car didn't die
i thought the problem had fixed so took it for another spin and as i pulled up and put it neutral it died
and it died once coming near to my house
it felt a bit more stable than yesterday guess i would have to take it on a longer trip to find out
for now the maf is unplugged
should i replace it or do you think it could be something else? would a maf from euro car parts be ok or would it have to be from vw
Gonna try and upload a few youtube clips if I am able to from my phone so you can get a rough idea

I have cleaned it, my mechanic said it could be realignment as the car has been sat for a while.
He is back tomorrow so either tomorrow or Wednesday I will get him to have a look at it and let you know how it goes.
