Having seen people posting pics of their white cars I'm sure I'll be happy with it when it arrives. It seems to suit the sharp crease lines of the Mk7 and the black plastic detailing very well IMHO.

One thing I must say though is that white doesn't excite or sparkle if you know what I'm mean. It's kinda anti-colour like flat black. However my current Scirocco's rising blue is stunning. Just love it. Even after 4 years. Best colour car I've ever owned. It's close to the exclusive colour used on the R32 & R and BMW's estoril blue. I'm just disappointed it wasn't available to order on the new GTI/GTD's.

But I wanted a change from blue so that ruled out Midnight Blue (which looks very nice with the red details). I don't like red. The blacks are too hard to keep clean. Silver seems out of fashion so Carbon Grey was my second choice. However in most dull light conditions its too close to black and I feared it would have been a swine to keep clean.

So white it is, and I'm 'fairly' happy with my choice. Too late to change now... BW confirmed

This is the Milton Keynes VW Midnight Blue GTD demo and not even a colour considered but having seen in flesh I was really taken by it and would have been very happy if it was my choice.

yes I am pretty happy with my colour choice (CSG) my previous car was DPB which I was really happy with and despite what ever says it always looked pretty good as long as you had a good cleaning regime. The only reason I didn't have DPB again was I feared it would look to much like my old car.
Golfgti build quality is average at best.

Seen a couple of GTI and GTDs around now (no doubt all demo cars) and they all look really really good imo.

(Unlike some other marques, where the odd ridiculous colour options exist!)
