Ordered Lemforder top mounts and bearings for the coilovers as VW wanted £194 for OEM, which I couldn't justify considering the quality difference between them and aftermarket.

Also ordered some custom leather interior trims
Mk7.5 GTI - Performance Pack, DSG, Sunroof, Dynaudio, Pro Nav, Vienna Leather, Climate Windscreen & last of the 3 doors....Many Sets of Alloys...

Prev - Mk7.5 White Silver, Vienna Leather, Sunroof, Helix Sub, Many Wheels

Interested to see what the trims are. Did you ever get any joy with sourcing Recaro’s?

Thanks for the recommendation on the dash cam.

Thanks for the recommendation on the dash cam.

Should be about 2 weeks until they're here, would rather show them when they're installed.

Only luck I've had is in Poland, plenty over in England but they must be on something to want £3k for seats that need reupholstered and re-foamed.

I do have a good lead on a nice set of Recaro Sportster CS' locally though but not the look I'm going for.

On Friday car went in to diagnose an issue with poor heating even after a good run - I have an all-in warrantee so I thought I better do it sooner rather than later - dealer still had the car over the weekend and into Monday.  Got the call yesterday to say that they had diagnosed that the dreaded heater matrix was kaput!  Paperwork was being put through so the parts can be ordered and then they've said it was a three day job to fit.

No other symptoms apart from only warmish air coming out after a long run - whereas it used to be roasting hot.

NB - I removed my intact silica bag from the header tank within six months of getting my car so probably about five years ago.

Let's hope it all works out once its back working again.

If it was not the silicate bag leaking suppose it means we all have to monitor for issues with the matrix.
Mk6 GTI Carbon Grey, 2010 Bluetooth and voice fitted, a few VCDS mods still a comfortable family car. Red Scirocco 2011 twin charger stage 1 - enjoyable drive now gone.  White 2016 Polo GTI (roller skate on steroids) replaced with an Indium Grey 2019 7.5 GTI PP.

Unfortunately my dealer said that mine would make the third GTI they've had to replace the matrix on.

Today I had the KW Street Comfort coilovers installed and a hunter alignment.

On my future list of things to do - been looking at KW's or Bilstein's, probably only V1's or B6's.

Hope yours run how you expected.

Just a photo for reference, but will do a bit of a review on them later down the line.
