Where did you get these from please and how do they illuminate?

They illuminate just as the original paddles did.
The seller is NCZ Works, available on ebay or etsy I believe.

I was going to ask the same question re. illumination... I never noticed the original ones lighting up!

I wondered how they light up as well. From memory there is no electrical connection to the paddles.
Are the signs luminous?!

The light comes from where the paddles attach and is reflected up through the paddle. There are no lights in the paddle itself.

It's a sort of fibre optic from memory, plastically just plastic that reflects the light up. Here's a daytime photo to show how they blend in with the other black plastics.

Love those paddles, I very nearly ordered a set myself, but went for the usual metal ones in the end, might be tempted again one day, they look ace.

I replaced the two front tyres, pothole killed one last weekend. Went with the AS6 in the end.

Saved a few quid. Just finished the DIY version.

Look great! Wouldn't even notice a difference between yours and the pre-made ones. Been using them a lot more over the past couple of days and they're great, really helps make the dsg feel more alive.

In my view, the paddles are there on any performance car, whether GTI, Aston Martin, BMW or Porsche for a a good reason.
Unfortunately and mystifyingly ignored by maybe the majority of owners. Laziness vs ignorance.
I love my paddles.
