hi, where did you get this done? me being in a wheelchair would make this a very good add on as i could finally get into the boot...lol 
I’m surprised it’s never been an option on UK MK7’s
The new 1 series has it as an option so maybe the mk8 will. It must be a pretty standard feature of SUV’s and the Evoque in the house opposite me has it.
