I took my 2 week old, 300 mile GTD to the dealer today and drove off in a courtesy car whilst they look at an engine hardware fault. The dashboard warning light translates to a cat converter issue in the manual but apparently the actual fault is that the crankshaft timings are advanced. I'm disappointed as the part of the reason for going for new vs secondhand was the expectation that I wouldn't have to be doing things like this at this stage of ownership.
