The bulbs themselves look the same to me as any other nightbreaker plus - perhaps they come in the older style packaging (clear double bubble card rather than the squashed cylinder packaging).

Washed the car and found a long very light surface scratch. Buffed right out with a bit of MER. Put my TDI-tuning.co.uk box up to max setting for a few days of fun running the tank down before I see what the unenhanced car does with standard diesel and not the V-power which I suspect has been the cause of my sh!te mpg and performance.

Osrams ordered earlier and seeing as it's raining I'm going to do the DAB station logos onto the SD in a minute then think about going to the pub (minus car!) as it's ages since I've been out for a pint!

Exonian - where do u get stn logos from to transfer to SD card ? I tried the links posted but seemed to go nowhere fast and one wanted credit card details which I thought was suspect?

Just driven the car to the cinema to see Thor 2. Great film, noticeably better than the first (which was still ok).

I ended up using the ones on the Volkswagen website as above.

They look a bit blurry on the screen but still prettier than empty black boxes...

Gave the GTI its first snowfoam


Fitted the audi 12v socket,


LED Vanity Lights,


And Richbrook Tax Disc holder ready for when it arrives

Washed the car and nearly ended up with frostbite  :grin:. To date I have not managed to wash the wheels without cutting my hands, bloody hell the discs are fecking sharp
