It's possible that the film hasn't specifically been made as a period documentary, or for the anally retentive?

Anyway, I watched the movie last night and was very impressed!

It would however be wise to keep such things to yourself for a few weeks until such time as people have had a chance to see said film. There's an idea. :smiley:

Just been to see it, and it captures the era pretty well, so was quite impressed...
Well worth a look, if you're wondering whether to bother or not

Stunning cinematography, extremely evocative, with some of the track action looking like oil paintings, also lots of low depth of field gorgeousness and certain amounts of graininess and soft focus used selectively.

I would cheerfully go back and pay to see it again.... if it wasn't for that nurse using that incorrect period ophthalmoscope in one of the scenes right at the start....  oh no, I would cheerfully go and pay to see that again.

What exact period was this made 70 75 79?
