tracker jumped a place
« on: 13 September 2013, 08:47 »
hi guys
I have been on build week 37  , so was expecting the tracker to move me into build in progress  over night as seems to be the normal practise  with the system , so image my shock  after logging on today to see it says car built and in transit
I never even got to see it in the build in progress stage , anyone else had this happen ????
I will e-mail my dealer at 9 am for them to confirm it is not another  vw cockup

Well if it is a cock up, it's in the right direction!

Mine did the same, I was looking forward to seeing the robot arm move. Fingers crossed it will leave on the Autorunner today, as it's been sat in the Emden carpark for over a week now.

That's great news as long as its not a system c@ck up!

The more I hear stories of the tracker the more I think it's complete boll@cks.

I was BW34 and went to build on time but then sat for 26 days, just changed to Transit on Wednesday with 3 weeks now showing to get to dealer, I don't believe a thing I see on it, awaiting return call from VW

Same here.

Stuck on "Build Week Confirmed" "Your order has been confirmed for production week commencing 08/09/2013"

No sign of moving to "Build In Progress" let alone straight to "In Transit"

CSG, 5 Dr GTI DSG, Rev Cam, DCC, Park Assist etc
Arrived: GTI, DSG, 5 Door, Carbon Steel Grey, Service Plan, Winter Pack, Side Airbag, DCC (or ACC - the Adaptive Chassis thing, ok?), Park Assist, Rear View Camera

mine is pure white , so maybe there is something in the colour  choice  that affects the build routine

Could it be the camera holding you up? What does your dealer say?

I thought it could be a colour thing, or dsg, or rev cam!! Guess I will just have to be patient and see what happens!
