Its attached to the air filter box with plugs both sides.They turn the signal from the crank sensor  into a switched signal capable of inducing HT in the coil. A failed amplifier will stop it sparking.

Ive checked on my air box mate cant see anything bolted to it so i dont think i have 1 lol

After a full solid month of changing and trying various things FINALY  it started, turns out its the black and purple Wire going to the coil pack wasnt giving it enough power to make it spark, any ideas why? I was thinking a break in the wire but it is getting some power is there anything else it could be? Cheers
