Material for backseat rear board
« on: 10 September 2013, 12:57 »
Wanting to cover my back seat panel as its got loads of holes in and looks untidy when I open the boot. I noticed that some mk2s have cloth on these panels and was just wondering if anyone knows where to buy it from. Just missed out on a panel which was covered on eBay but if you know of anyone selling one then please let me know, it's a full bench panel not the 60/40 split. Cheers

Acoustic carpet from hifi installers is pretty good stuff and easy to apply with some contact adhesive.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

Cheers will have a look, although I would prefer the original material but its probably cheaper using acoustic material.

Will keep this as a option tho.

Cheers for the link, will help to take my seats apart. My interior is also edition one but I was going for black material for the rear panel so that it matches in the carpeted boot turrets, quality job tho. What type of material did you use i.e. accoustic?

That's cloth. Surely you need carpet in the boot?

Here's my boot with carpeted turrets and rear panel from Newton Commercial
