Coil Packs issue
« on: 09 September 2013, 12:14 »
Hi Everyone,

This morning when leaving the gym for work, my car set off, then after a few meters popped a coil pack out of position, and the EPC light came on, and the dash warning said " Workshop Engine Fault!! " It has done this twice now in the past few weeks. It looses a cylinder, I turned it off and pressed the coil back into place (#1 coil pack). Started her back up and shes fine again.

Has anyone upgraded theirs?

Thanks In Advance

I had a coil pack failure earlier on in the year, which was replaced under warranty. 2010 car.

I decided just to replace them all with the new ones, which were introduced in May 2012,  06H 905 115 B

The side effect of this is that my exhausts no longer soot up at all
