MMMM Think i found my problem
« on: 08 September 2013, 20:47 »
Well i thought i ought to post back in here  had my 2.slow for about three weeks now and m.o.t's just ran out so using the mk3 whilst i get the mk4 sorted got alot of mechanical jobs to get done but over the last week or so the interior has been totally stripped out and everything has been given a thorough clean/valet! as well as sorting the infamous sunroof drain tube problems as i found mine detached or blocked! and a damp interior, well that's all sorted now and i have also managed to paint and re-fit the black trim  just need to get it through the m.o.t for the money i got it for its not to bad really requires some painting which i shall be doing myself as with the mk3 all jobs will be done by me to save money, looking forward to being able to drive it....

So jobs for m.o.t look like tyres x4,rear shocks, windowscreen these are definates
Also when i first picked the car up from down south  i noticed the osf front tyre inner edge was badly worn! and it had a a knocking from the osf also, suspecting arb bushes and or droplinks might need sorting i had a look today and to my suprise the arb and droplink bushes seem fine however i did find this............

Drove it 280 miles back to mine like this  :lipsrsealed:
