Saw a carbon copy of my gtd on the a38m heading into Birmingham. I don't think the guy was to interested. lol  :laugh:

Drove all the way from London west down the M4 today and back and saw over 100 VW cars easily

Was keeping an eye out every time I saw a VW hatch but no GTD/GTIs  :sad:

Seems the south haven't invested as heavily as the midlands/north from these threads!

I have to say though most of the drivers I spotted in these cars were old enough to have been in the 2nd world war!!  :grin:

I drove up to Liverpool from Sheerness on Friday and back today and didn't spot a single GTI or GTD. I expected to see way more.

I've only ever seen 3 ever, white one in Cheadle, black one in the Trafford centre, and a red one in whythenshawe. I was trying to catch the red one up but a bus got in the way.

Saw my first MK7 GTI in black yesterday in Crowthorne just up the road from where i live, after seeing none for months driving around the country!!
