Yeah Glenshane pass would be lethal downhill, and just showing off uphill!

The rev range does like to sit higher, I think that's just the nature of the car. Does comfort or normal work in a different rev range? Is it possible?

I prefer driving on the edge though, the lag is zero sitting @ 3k revs and the car just pops. (I truly forget I am driving an oil burner)!

Not sure - I'm a DSG'er and meant gearbox in sport mode or using paddles - DCC (or whatever its called) is left in sport 24/7!

Well, I am on the M2 from Antrim to the odyssey exit every Monday - Friday from 8am > 8.30.

Always keeping my eye out, still not a lot of MK7 GTI / GTD's about, so easy to spot.

I've found what you guys have said to be very true, you need to rev the GTD to get the performance out of it. Once you do, the performance is totally awesome (The car is awesome in every way anyway!!).

Haven't seen any of you NI guys around, but working in Newtownards, I don't really get the chance to. Followed a GTD home one night to Ards, and realised it was the demonstrator I drove at Agnews. Also, one of the salesmen from Agnews Boucher drives a red GTI and I've spotted it a few times around the Ards Peninsula area. Other than that, the GTD/GTI is pretty rare

Have seen the Red GTI parked up at Agnews Boucher for the past couple of weeks on passing on way to work

Spotted a red GTi on the A1 South Bound just after junction 49 this morning at around 08:50 this morning! I was heading North in my CSD GTi.
