Saw my first one yesterday on the M77 on my way to Ayr, it was heading up towards Glasgow?

Anyone here?

Think it was carbon but it passed to fast as we were probably both going at the speed limit in opposite directions  :laugh:

Just spotted another red GTI on the M8 tonight and a red GTD coming out of my road of all places when I got home tonight. The guy driving out the road seemed to be enjoying himself. They're everywhere round Glasgow :grin:

Generally commute between north of Lincoln and Humber bank and have not seen another gti at all, I do see a white gtd most days though heading towards lincoln on the a15 in the morning and the other way in the evening, always grab a quick look in the mirror at his rear LED's  :laugh: I am always in my mk5, I might get a banner telling him my wife has a mk7 gti  :laugh:

Just been to a tesco extra in south sheilds just off the coast road and saw a white GTD. Looks beasty!! Anyone on here??

These GTD's are everywhere, 3 today. red gtd at shell garage next to redheugh bridge in Gateshead, then a silver one turning right onto Tyne bridge both at lunchtime, also another silver one on Washington highway this morning. Common as muck !!!

I've not seen any around our way yet, apart from a couple of MK6s.

Have to keep a keener eye out.
