Maybe try giving VW CS a call? They seem to have more up to date info than the dealers and you can give them a rocket without having to upset your dealer 
I don't think VW CS will be able to do much either going from other threads on here.
All is being handled as well as can be under the circumstances of VW in Germany not building the darned thing!
And yes, mine is specced with the rear view camera!!!
