Try Dodo Juice Clearly Menthol or Angel Wax Glass Cleaner.  Both a very good and don't smear.

Also Autosmart Glass Clear is good.

Buy yourself a good glass cloth also, not like a normal microfibre.

I personally don't like clearly menthol, Autoglym Glass Polish gets a thumbs up from me.

Buy yourself a good glass cloth also, not like a normal microfibre.

This makes all the difference!

Personally any glass cleaner will work. i think that the cloth and the method is the main factor.

I use a waffle weave cloth. spray on the cloth apply over the screen flip the cloth over to a clean side and buff off. then once i have done all the windows then i go round again with a clean cloth to make sure that i havent missed anything.

New to forums and just seen this post, and how to combat the smears.

Internally, spray your glass cleaner on to a short microfibre cloth (e.g. Gliptones Glass Microfibre), not directly onto the glass. Then clean in straight lines.

After that switch to a clean dry medium microfibre and wipe cleaned area and watch the smears disappear :)

Make sure not to be tempted to wipe any marks you see on the dash. And don't spray directly on to glass due to over spray going on the dash etc

Windows always take 2 cloths. One to wipe on/clean.

The other to buff/polish

Got the new GTD on Sat there and already turned OCD with it! When it comes to dust or wee bits of hair etc in the car I tried using a clean tissue on the glass/door etc...noob choice as it then left a lot of sh*tey wee bits all over it. Is there just like an every day microfiber towel I can buy or does it have to be specific? Sorry for the stupid question. Cheers
