New GTI owner from Monday.

Posted on someone elses thread in error so start again.

Hello all.
Walked into VW dealer 11am (Friday),went out for a test drive in a mk7 gti and 4 hours later paid deposit.
Picking it up on Monday.
Lovely car.

Ok,picked it up this afternoon and not been able to put it down since.
Weather is not conducive to really toeing it but have given it a bit.
Holds on really well and stays very flat in sport and hasn't started to slide at all.
Need to spend some time with the manual esp the Pro nav instructions as I've not scratched the surface of what it offers.
All in all after 4hrs I am very happy.

It is a demo car with 61 miles on the clock.Ended up at 220 when I picked it up today.
Manual box,performance pack,ACC,leather,nav pro,sunroof,audio upgrade,winter pack and metallic black sold on a 63 plate registered 7 days ago.Also went halves on a 3yr service pack.
Traded in my podgy mk4 v5.
Not going to say how much I paid (cash) but got a huge discount off list.
Right time right place I guess.

The guy who sold it to me could not have been better even followed me down to a garage to stick £40 in the tank.
