advice please ive been offerd a golf mk4 turbo 2 months mot 1 months tax body work isnt brilliant knackerd gear box will need replacing the person has asked for £450 whats it worth

It's only worth paying £450 if you plan on breaking it, the money that would need to be spent on bodywork/gearbox could be put towards a decent one in the first place.

its worth as much as you want to pay we cant see the car so as dom said why buy a car needing a gearbox an bodywork when you can buy 1 not needing work for not much more
