battery in the boot?
« on: 06 September 2013, 11:33 »
just wondering why people do this, is it just looks or is there a handling benefit?

the reason I ask is because I'm building a mk2 rocco and apparently the back can get quite skippy on these.

Think it's all for looks - tidy's up the engine bay and means that people can hide all the wiring down the chassis legs.

Do Eibach make a rear ARB for the Rocco? I fitted one to my Golf and it helps the handling overall!

I doubt the weight of a battery in the boot would improve handling that much. It tends to be for cleaner and tidier bays.

I'm not sure if eibach make one, it does have a rear arb already tho. did you fit yours as an upgrade or an addition?
