car decides too go nuts tonight!!!

On way home from work car decides to go nuts on me, kept cutting out then would start straight away then wouldnt start for ages, no power, clocks going nuts lights flashing speedo going up and dwn while i aint moveing lol , now it starts and ok ish but half my clocks dont work, what the hell could have gone wrong, thanks in advance  for any help  :smiley:

Ok cheers mate guna get it scanned soon to find out what codes it throws up, im thinking cat for the running problems aswell lol

im in the same boat mate my car runs like crap at the moment ive had it on a rolling rd etc but still got the problems lol

car started first time this morning  :angry: no cutting out (yet) just scanned it and got these codes

16518 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor B1 S1
            P0134 - 35-00 - No Activity
16522 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor B1 S2
            P0138 - 35-10 - Signal too High - Intermittent
17988 - Throttle Actuator (Bank 1)
            P1580 - 35-10 - Malfunction - Intermittent
16725 - Camshaft Position Sensor (G40)
            P0341 - 35-10 - Implausible Signal - Intermittent
16885 - Vehicle Speed Sensor
            P0501 - 35-10 - Implausible Signal - Intermittent

also think my cat has collapsed/breaking upas got some honey comb type stuff out of the exhaust  :angry:

From what you said mate think your cat is gone. Just get decat fitted. Then clear them codes see how drives. Try not to drive it if the cat i blocked :wink:

My bros 1.8t did it and it had water damage to the ecu and made the car go nuts. Thats y i said check ecu :smug:

I wanted to decat it but cant as no cat = no mot and mot runs out soon :angry:

i really need to drive it at the moment for work, am i causing any more damage driving it like it is?
also could i just get 1 from a scrappy JUST for the mot then i could get it decat or is that a no go lol cheers
