Back firing

My agu will backfire in between gear changes sometimes, normally after sitting at lights going from 1st to second it will pop loud, sounds ace but is it ok ,its only done this since fitting a tip.

proberbly just in the exhaust...

are you experiencing any loss of power when this happens?

No loss of power just a loud pop out back possibly flames too when changing gear,possible over fueling ?no smoke though

The pop is just unburned fuel in the exhaust, I wouldn't worry about it mine does it when I'm giving it the beans, spits flames as well :grin:

Yes its only on gearchange and theres no cat to worry about .suppose it will be ok then.

could be a vacuum leak from the TIP clip not being tight enough

im guessing its cause theres no cat...

mine pops like a b!tch when i let off and get to low revs and sometimes when changing gear...
