« on: 03 September 2013, 17:39 »
I have a stage 1 map, catch can, dv007p and panel filter. everything else is standard.
What could i change or mod to give me an extra 5-10bhp without spending serious money.

Thanks.

on a st1 AUM, the largest gain for the least money has to be a decat.

my AUM was ~200 at stock st1, then 224bhp after a decat and downpipe.

sorry to hijack but is there a massive gain between a decat and a sports cat? reason I ask is that I got the sports cat for legal reasons, but the car will soon be in a place where I can swap between for MOTs where as previously this wasn't the case

seems to be less lag and more free revving with a decat, maybe a few more BHP as well.

occasional pop & bang is a bonus too

I'm decated atm and am quicker than my mates AUM both of us have same mods, turbo spool at 2k revs and not 2.5k revs, sounds beastly to
