Top Car Commandments
« on: 01 September 2013, 20:37 »
My kid was whingeing today that she wasn't allowed to eat crisps in the car - "there are so many rules", she said.   It got me thinking.  So just for a bit of fun, what are your top car commandments?    Here are a few of mine (in no particular order):

1.  Thou shalt not permit consumption of food in car - broken, by others
2.  Thou shall only use Shell V Power fuel or equivalent - obeyed, even though nearest Shell garage is 7 miles away!
3.  Thou shall clean car at least every 2 weeks - broken
4.  Thou shall park as far away from any other car - obeyed, well almost!
5.  Thou shalt not use car to transport rubbish to tip - broken, today
6.  Thou shall park miles away from kerbs to protect diamond cut alloys - obeyed, but hasn't worked  :embarrassed:

Thou shalt never use a was stripping, swirl inducing chamois. That's what fluffy micro fibre drying towels are for.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

Thou shalt not wear clothing with zips or buckles at the back.
Thou shalt not trap the seatbelt buckle in the door.
Thou shalt not scuff the sealing rubbers with thy feet on the way in or the way out.
Thou shalt not bring dog sh*t into the car on thy shoes.
Thou shalt not close the door except by the handle and though must be exceptionally careful when wearing rings.
