Rear exhaust box ,under body hanger

Hi all,

I am trying to put my 8v back to standard. I have ordered a genuine rear box from germany ( moment of madness) £240 ouch !
The car has a big bore exhaust with a few mods to make it fit. It looks like the final rear metal hanger under the car supporting the rear box has corroded and is missing. Someone has configured a make shift bracket to hang the exhaust from. Can anyone direct me to what standard should look like and how best to return to original. Hope that makes sense

Yeah the std rear hanger is just a hook, similar to the ones that hold rear of backbox.

Mine also snapped and i just had a small bracket made up and then bolted up to floor. Ill see can i get you a pic of mine today

From memory, and its been a long time! Isn't the hook part of a bracket that is bolted to the underside of the car?

I was wondering if these can be supplied as a part as it does appear to bolt on. Been in touch with heritage but they could not help.

not 100% sure. but is the rear hook not the same as the one beside where the handbrake cables go through the floor.
