urgent help needed plz

guys wot is up with my car, its a 90 reg 1.6 driva, engine code ez carb pieburg 2e.
car wont start, when u turn the keys nothing, all stays silent, is this the starter motor not working??
its got new battery and alternator, it wont jump start but will push start and then all is fine till u switch it off then nothing again
help plz

Test the starter motor solenoid with a multimeter to make sure power is getting to it. Sounds like the starter motor has packed up.

sometimes the starter just needs hit a couple of taps with a hammer or rubber mallet while tryin to turn it over

guys its sorted it wasnt the starter motor a wire had come off an old alarm that i didnt even no i had, theres only the box left, and a few wires, one had come off once put back on it started first time. works good for an imobiliser though lol

Is your driver still running on it's original carb?

if u mean the one it came with no, had to change it last week idle control thing seized but its been replaced with the same make pierburg thing, i want a webber but cant afford one right now
