Car tax price outrageous

 My car tax has gone up by a few quid with all the pot holes can't work out why it's so expencive

I'm dreading when need to renew  :sick:

Non of it is spent on the roads, marely a tax based on vehicle emmissions. I wouldn't mind if some was directly going into a fund for improving road conditions fixing potholes.

That's cheap! My LCR is £154 for 6mths or £280 for 12mths

It's because the country is in a 3rd recession, and there are more and more cars on the roads plus its a price we have to pay for having powerful cars

Just paid mine today, £143.00 for 6 month and £280 for a year

Mine for a year is £225 my missis has a Nissan quashqai and her tax is £30

I haven't paid for road tax in a year and a half. if I get pulled for it I have a perfectly legit loophole.
