The resistance is wrong. This is critical on the 20vt
Even the mk4 diesel won't work with a mk4 20vt

A resistor won't change a range of resistance will it?
That will be a shift of resistance range and a bit if a bodge.

The trouble with them is the range is different.
It's not just 1k ohms less across the board, the entire sweep is different. No idea how to put it. "Range ratio" is the only thing I can think of.
