Part number wanted
« on: 25 August 2013, 18:22 »
Could someone with access to ETKA please have a look for the part number for a drivers side sun visor for a left hand drive GTI? I'd like to replace the passenger side one that has the stickers on for one without.

Cheers. ;)

Are the stickers really that bad?  If so, might be worth putting in a bulk order with a few of us

It's not really a sticker that you can pull off. It's like it's painted onto the visor! Likewise though, I've forgotten it's there, don't really notice it. It seems to be in loads of new cars, not just VW's so it's obviously some bull EU safety policy.

I've got it in my works Outlander which i don't mind really, but it'll annoy the hell out of me on the black visor in the car! >:(

I read a german forum where the guys there were wanting to do the same. You could organise a swapsy.

A straight swapsy is no good, as one of us would end up with stickers on both sides.

It's a standard EU warning about using child seats in the front, it's not a sticker but actually sort of etched into the material, a bit like a transfer.

It bothered me for a few days but now I don't notice it.
