MK2 Golf Wheel Sizes and Conversions
« on: 25 August 2013, 12:48 »
I have a mk2 1.6 Driver with 14" wheels on, Im looking at some 16" porsche wheels that i want to put on but i wasn't sure wether or not they would go straight on ( with an adapter of course) Or if i had to change the disks and hub to fit bigger sized wheels on?

Any thoughts would be appreciated

If the car is on standard ride height the the wheels will physically fit within the arches. It depends on the wheels you want to fit if they will bolt straight on, check before you buy. Number of studs and the diameter of the holes. Also bigger wheels will throw your speedo off.

Excellent. Ill just get some adapters then. Just wasn't sure if the hubs needed changing or not for them to fit.

Cheers guys.

Nope all you will need is 4x100 to 5x130mm adaptors.
