I've got the Vwr big brake kit fitted and been on for 3 years now, awesome bit of kit when fitted with the RS29 pads
I use to run them on the DS2500 pads but found the Rs29s much better,on a downside the Discs are expensive to replace/pads are expensive aswell,
if I was to buy a BBK now I would buy the ones that AKS tuning are selling, they give you better clearance for wheel choice without fitting spacers, pads and discs are cheaper when the time comes to replace them and a very progressive pedal feel

As for the coilies Bilsteins all the way imo

you just have to factor in spacers changing ET with the drop and potential rubbing issues

The VWR kit used to come with different size bells so you could run oem wheels, now they do an integral spacer option, so you can run oem or lose spacer and run aftermarket with a lower offset

I have both VWR BBK and Bilstein b16 coilovers - both are a fantastic upgrade
I did need a 5mm spacer (18" BBS chr wheels) to clear the callipers , also needed a 5mm spacer to clear the AKS kit too.
With aks :
