I collect my all black gtd today. Was wondering what people who have a Richbrook tax disc holder thought of them and in an all black car (leathers) would people go with the titanium silver or the black.

I really like mine. However i have the cloth interior. I still think it will look ace with the leather though.

I chose the black because i didnt want it to stand out too much, and i think the silver ones look a bit "corsa chav m8" haha!

It was £11.99 from eBay

I like the black then I saw red, but red apparently looks like a light pink. So possibly going with black.

Also anyone got the metal pressed plates.

Got anodised red for my TR red GTD. When it arrived it looked pink so it went back and I got a black twist-off back one, looks much better.
Whey ya bugger! It's finally arrived after an 8 month wait....

There's nothing chav about a silver/titanium disc holder. Red and white are chav, silver is neutral and subtle I can assure you

Sorry Craig, i didn't mean to cause offence. Where i'm from they considered a little chavvy thats all. I do like them, i just prefer the black

Anybody know the max size of SD card the standard GTD can take? 32 or 64gig?

In the manual it says 32 gig max.

In the manual it says 32 gig max.

It says up to 2tb with top tier SDXC card, 32gb max on a SDHC. Car will handle a 64gb SDXC card fine if formatted in ex-fat. (sent whilst semi-drunk from a day at the swim-up bar, evening session to start).

Being a tech whore I think the 2tb might be the pick lol

With max bitrate of 320kbps for mp3 tracks, 32gb will be fine for most.

Pretty sure thats a 205 GTI font, but i know what you mean about prefering it, i had a look at these and the golf GTI writing wasnt even symmetrical, like so http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-Richbrook-Tax-Disc-Holder-Volkswagen-GTI-Logo-/271159553918?pt=UK_Car_Interior_Accessories&hash=item3f225e6f7e#ht_0wt_0

and this one is just plain confusing http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Titanium-Richbrook-Tax-Disc-Holder-Volkswagen-Golf-R-GTI-/190747525730?pt=UK_Car_Interior_Accessories&hash=item2c69704262#ht_1297wt_1399

so in the end settled on this one http://www.amazon.co.uk/Richbrook-twist-off-machined-aluminium-available/dp/B0095ZKD30/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1381142750&sr=8-1&keywords=vw+racing+tax+disc , which i am very happy with and will eventually get a matching induction kit to go with it
