Mine is a 2012 Gti and I'm running a Revo stage 1 map. This was put on at 10k and now on 16k. Soon after I had the map I had clutch slip when I really boot it. I use the gears correctly and try not to put the power in till around 3500rpm.
Mine is similar to yours, sometimes it slips and sometimes not, can't understand it lol. But when it slips, it slips and that's it then, clutch is too hot. The dyno readings I had was 279bhp and over 300 ins of torque.
I'm having a Sachs road/race clutch fitted in a couple of weeks so I can use all the power

I'm having the kit to use the stock flywheel.
I did approach Revo about the issue and said it should not slip, it's a dealer issue. I gave up thus buying the Sachs option. It's sat in the dining room waiting to be fitted
