Went to Jersey some years ago, max speed limit over the whole island was 40 . Is Guernsey the same ?

think its 35 over it all but the petrol is 35p a litre cheaper and theres no tax on the whole island! plus mk mk3 is only a 1.4 so its not exactly a speed demon! gives me some time to save up some pennies for something a little special when (if) i eventually return to england
