Nope, just a very mild facelift. The next new model is the 2 Series which is what BMW call a coupe but looks like a 2 door saloon. I've read that the M-Sport 1 Series inc the M135i won't be effected by the facelift as it's the standard car that really struggles with it's looks.
Cancelled GTI, M135i beast mode.

All that's changing is a slight adjustment to the front of the car, a very mild facelift if you will. The rest of the car is staying the same, including the interior. Remember this only got facelifted in 2011 so they're not going to change it drastically just yet.

Yeah it's the M2xx that will be interesting.  But it's gonna be out of my budget I think!

Other problem is one of my main reasons for a change of car is I want 4/5 doors and the 2 series and 4 series are specifically limited to 2 doors.  This was a big reason I looked at the GTI in the first place as I think it's one of the best if not the best 5 door hot hatch.

I think you need to just get in a new car ASAP before you drive yourself nuts !

Take a decision and go for it, that's what I did and dont regret it, then you can move on and start enjoying the new car.

I decided to take the BMW a few days ago.  Been hammering out a deal and finalised the offer this afternoon.  Just got to go sign the paperwork tomorrow morning at 9am and I'm oddly looking forward to this event of handing over £30k!  I said I wanted it ASAP and they said they can get it before end of September if I sign now.

Gotta stop talking about BMW before I piss the mods off :embarrassed:

VW are pretty pissed at me though judging by the conversation I had with them earlier. well too bad.
