Buy forge 007/8 tried andctested for years and work fantastic. Or even a oem new version valve. These mix valves can cause majorvrunning issues on 1.8Ts
2001 mk4 GTI 1.8t AUM. k&n induction kit with customer heat shield, 3'' TIP, Forge 007P, Stage 1 map, N249 bypass, 3'' downpipe and decat, 2.75'' Jetex cat back non res, Koni shockers and H&R springs 35mm, dimpled and grooved disks front and back

yeah i see that ppl are using the 007/8s. theres such a mixed review on using the atmospheric/ recriculating type valves!  :laugh:

I guess it will be roughly the same as the forge split r which usually work well on 1.8t's  Although if its dv noise your after just fit a cone filter.

its a 2001 AUM engine 1.8t .looking at fitting a s2000 filter. just saw these type r ones on ebay and wondered if anyone knew anything about them.  :smiley:
