Thoughts on power flex bushes.

Thinking about replacing all the under car bushes with the power flex full kit. Will be running coilys aswell.
What are people opinions on poly bushes?
Are they worth it?
Is the ride to hard with coilys?

Unless your going to track it I would just stick with oe rubber as all your fillings will fall out .

Its bad enough with just coilies ,think about it, rubber bushes absorb some of the shocks from the lumps and bumps in our great English roads,replace them with something a bit more firm / solid combined with cheap slammed coilovers (I know this is what you will get  ) and you will end up with a horse cart for a car and you will probably hate it.

Or, run better coilovers and full poly bushes.
Mine is fully polybushed and the ride is firm but nowhere near as bad as some of the awful £200 coilover kits on rubber bushes.

I did mine because I was attracted to the lifetime warranty,but if I could go back I would stay oe cause if you don`t lube   the rear axle bushes every 3 months they start to squeak like hell.

Mine are fully superpro bushed and are awesome

You need to use cast Pu bushes as moulded ones set and will squeak, rattle and shake your teeth out.
Beware of cheap imitations as they say

just stick some poly bushes in the front wishbone rear mount. that's the ones that make the biggest difference. if all the rest are good I would not go near them.

Depends what you want to achieve.

If you want the best handling you can get then fully polybush, but you will also need to fit some really good coilovers or spring/damper kit.
Bilstein/Koni/Weitec are good makes and do both coilovers and kits.
You should have adjustable rate dampers as you can then set the ride to how you want.
However if you set the ride soft the car will bounce, if you go too hard the ride will be harsh.
Decent coilovers/spring kits will cost you £500 plus, usually about 700.

You should also think about uprated anti roll bars.

You are now in for at least a grands worth of gear and if you cant fit that lot yourself another few hundred quid to pay a mechanic.

So now do you really want to buy polybushes?
