When you say leak what do you meen?
Unless he took it out and inspected it to see it was split the only other way would be by sound.
If he said oil leak on the diverter valve thats something else. Have a look at my oil leak thread if thats the case as i originally thought it was diverter valve.

just read through your thread mate, looks like mine has the same symptoms (oil on the main air feed pipe etc.)

you have a PM :)

thanks mate, that's exactly what he said. he also said it might not be the diverter. you got a link to the thread?
Awesome are pretty decent guys, and it only take 5 mins to check. I bet he just whipped it out and saw a split. I thought my MK5 was fine till i got a new DV and then Wow...what a difference a new and working DV make.

Plus, Revo is a aggressive map, theres a good chance it has split it....

This is 99% of what i gave the dealer to help diagnose and fix mine.

Symptoms
• Oil leak
• Induction type air leak whistle at certain revs.

Oil leak, maybe possible causes,
• Crankcase ventilation systems small pipe and air intake pipe seals leaking causing a pressure issue which causes oil vapour to condense back into oil. (known issue to VW that can cause this type of leak that makes it look like a turbo issue)
• Diverter valve diaphragm split causing the crankcase ventilation system to think there is pressure present.
• Crankcase ventilation system valve failure.
• Turbo charger oil seals failure.

OIL HERE --- Under the car on the join between the turbo and diverter valve. -  06F 145 710G - Oil seems to be running down onto this from the top of the engine from the crankcase breathers small pipe. It is then running down onto this location

OIL HERE  --- Main air feed pipe join down the driver side of the engine bay. - 1K0 129 654 AP -

OIL HERE --- Small pipes join were it is connected to the air feed pipe on the top of the engine. This seems to be the source of the leak. It is wet and dripping / leaking oil.
Small pipe - 06J 103 213 - Air pipe -1K0 129 654 AP -

The small pipe is connected to the crankcase ventilation system - 06H 103 22A A - and fine oil separator - 06H 103 495 E -

THE FIX
They replaced the large intake pipe that i quoted the part number of in the PM.
Think it was 1K0 129 654 AP
