Lumpy between 1 & 2000RPM
« on: 16 August 2013, 00:14 »
I have an AUM MK4 1.8T and have fixed the secondary air intake and starter over run.  Its had a new dump valve, air filter, MAF, N75, Bank 1 Lambda sensor and its now doing my head in.  No fault codes.
Seems ok most times from cold, but when warm its lumpy between 1 & 2k RPM.

What could this be, or does anybody want to buy it as I am done with guessing.

Ring vw and see if ur car has been recalled for coil packs and give your TB a clean

Really, the car is 2001 model will they seriously look at coil packs?

And is there a common vac hose that I need to check first?  Looks like loads on it!!!!

Main dealer will change only genuine failed coil packs if its on recall and look at the breather that comes out of the right hand side of the rocker cover goes down infront of the engine they go mushy

Thanks Baxxy but I already put a new one of those hoses on, the Y type hose.  Really had just about enough now, so trolling through internet looking for another car.  Shame.  Will probably scrap this junk.
