WTF!!!!!! GTD delayed by another 5 months

That really is outrageous. My build week has just slipped from 34 to 42 so I can empathise. My dealer didn't even call me to tell me this, I had to leave 3 messages with reception before they even got back to me.

Does anyone know the actual rules regarding deposits? I'm 99% sure I'm going to cancel now, mainly out of principal on how I've been treated throughout the process. But is slippage in the order enough to be guaranteed the return of your deposit?

Cheers mate - yes it says 28 days after the estimate (which it will be).

You can get deposit back. Order form is not worth the paper it is written on.

Legally you are in a strong position.

Ask for money back, they should be reap enable and do it without fuss.

If not, escalate to brand manager at the site.

100% you will get money back

I have just had a phone call from my dealer saying that my order had been put back to week 51!!!

I ordered my GTD on the 15th April, this means that if this stands I will have to wait for 10 months.

I am readying my cancelling voice

Have a good look on your order on the tracker - has it changed at all? Maybe the dealer cocked up a spec change on another order and applied it to yours instead (this is why my dad got his GTD 2 months before i'll get mine).

I have just looked and it is with the factory apparently, maybe they are using my order to prop up a wobbly table.

I have thought about asking for a courtesy car while I wait, its already been 18 weeks and apparently they provide one after 20 weeks.

They do, and they have to. Except you'll get given an Up! If I were you I'd cancel. BW51 is a joke.
