Red footwell lights
« on: 14 August 2013, 17:14 »
HI

I know that theis topic has come up in the past but I have used the search facilty and could not find the topic, so apologies.

I want to have red footwell lights but can't decide whether I can just paint the bulbs or should replace them entirely - my concern with painting them is that the light may appear pink

Any suggestions/help appreciated.

Thanks

Buy the kit! I wouldn't compromise on a few quid on a car that cost as much as it did, but that's my opinion, I have just ordered the led kit for mine to do all the interior.

They just need to be red bulbs, they don't need to be LEDs.

I got mine for £1 or something ridiculous off eBay and they work great

I bought some from Ebay but they have gradually turned white as the red paint has burnt off

To be honest, I am quite flummoxed as to what bulbs to get as there are so many on Fleabay....

Can anyone recommend any inparticular ? I would rather pay a bit more and get good quality..
Is it best to go for normal nulbs or LED in this case ?

Think this is why I went for the normal bulbs, sure I read somewhere that they weren't?
