guys some of you will know I bought a anniversary a couple of weeks back its been lowered pics in my new Anniversary
question the tyres are rubbing on the inner arch on full lock the tyres are 205 55 15 can I change the profile to say 195 50 15s

Yep 195/50 is the standard size, 205/55's are the wrong size for a mk3.

Ive got 205/50/15 on mine.

195/50/15 can also be used.

If its got 205's on and is rubbing then it's been lowered.

It's the 55 tyre profile  that is the issue here,  205 (width)  is absolutely fine if slightly lowered especially on 15's.

Do it,  regardless of scrubbing issues.  55's are incorrect for the gearing and speedo anyway.

As already said 55 is wrong. 50 or lower for mk3
